There is lots to do at Stratton not only in the Winter. This coming weekend is Wanderlust, a full weekend of yoga classes, music and events.

Fourth of July Celebration

Celebrate Independence Day Weekend with gondola rides, hay rides, live entertainment and fireworks!
The Gondola will be running July 3-5 from 10am-4:30pm. Summer rates apply; buy your tickets in advance and save.
Here is whats happening on the 4th!
10am-4:30pm Gondola Rides (Saturday-Sunday; Summer rates apply-buy your tickets at the gondola)
4-9pm Hay rides, lawn games, firetruck display, paintball, yard contests.
- Hay Rides – A great time for all ages, this 20 Minute ride begins at the South American Lift in the Main Base area. Enjoy Southern Vermont views on your way to the lake at Tamarack Heights, before returning back to rejoin the Friends & Freedom Celebration at the Base.
- Lawn Games – Activities for the kids like corn hole toss and milk bottle throw.
- Firetruck Display – The Stratton Volunteer Fire Department will be showing off their shiny red truck. Bring your cameras!
- Paintball Target Practice – Avalanche paintball will be on sight charging a small fee for target practice.
- Yard Contests – Get ready for some old fashioned fun. Three legged races, tug of war, egg races and more.
- Dunk Tank – Will you dunk or be dunked? Hit the target and sink family & friends!
- Hoop Mama – Who can go around the longest? Enter a hoola hooping contest and work those stomach muscles.
- High/Low Strike – See how hard you can slam the hammer!
4-9pm Jeff Tuohy & The Lustre Kings will perform on the Stratton Main Stage
6pm Hot Dog Eating Contest
- Show off your skills for some great prizes (free to enter). Open to the first 12 participants. Registration half hour before contest. In front of base lodge. Adult signature required.
7pm Pie Eating Contest
- If you're someone that orders their dessert before their meal, then this is the competition for you! Fill up on delicious pie for some great prizes (free to enter). Open to the first 25 participants. Registration half hour before contest. In front of base lodge. Adult signature required.
9:15pm National Anthem & Fireworks
